Goodbye 2016!

starkbierfestGoodbye 2016!

An exciting and interesting year is coming to an end. 2016 was a year filled with highlights and many great projects. From our legendary strong beer fest in our historical brewery in February, to our street sales, that have become an integral part of our event calendar and take place three times a year, to our golf tournaments “Wirtshhaus Open” in Zell am See, Austria – it has been a great year for Hofbräuhaus Traunstein!

In June, we were happy to release our latest product, an unfiltered 0.33l “Zwickl” beer which is now available at local shops and online. To spread the word on our new Zwickl, we got our old-timer truck going and went on a tour through Traunstein and the neighbouring villages – with success. The beer has become one of our customers’ and fans’ favourites! Like all our beers, it is brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1512 and with best Bavarian ingredients.

As our brewery and our beer output are steadily growing, we were able to hire nine new members of staff in 2016 that support us in various fields.

Thank you, danke, grazie!

We would also like to use the opportunity to thank our clients for their trust! More than 100,000 hl of beer were sold in 2016, various restaurants, pubs and bars in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Berlin as well as in Austria and Italy are selling the beer produced in our family-run brewery. We were able to win over 200 new clients thank to the incredible effort of our sales team. Keeping those numbers and the incredible feedback in mind, we look forward to a successful 2017!

Another record was set: in 2016 more than 12,000 beer enthusiasts from all over the world visited our brewery. They were taken on an exciting tour through our traditional brewery and were offered the chance to find out more about the art of brewing at Hofbräuhaus Traunstein.

Hofbräuhaus Traunstein says “thanks” to their employees, clients and fans for their great work, for their faith in us and for their positive feedback. We wish you all a merry Christmas and a very happy new year. See you in 2017!
